A former national rhythmic gymnast and professional dancer, Emily has always been passionate about exploring the capacities of the human body and finding ease in movement.
Prior to graduating from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, Emily spent over a decade teaching Pilates, helping people move with greater awareness and freedom. Her interest in anatomy and desire to better serve her clients led her to osteopathy, recognizing that all systems of the body must work together in harmony for the body to be able to express health.
Emily completed her Masters in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences in 2022 and is a registered member of OSTCAN (Osteopathy Canada). She has worked with patients dealing with chronic and acute pain, gastrointestinal disturbances, migraines, scoliosis, and more.
As a gentle, non-invasive form of manual therapy, osteopathy is suitable for everyone. Emily strives to provide treatment tailored to the individual with the goal of restoring balance in the anatomy to liberate the four rivers of life (nerves, arteries, veins, and lymphatics), so that the body can restore constitution and vitality.
Outside of clinical work, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and camping, as well as curling up with a book and her dogs, Roma and Neville.
